The purpose of this blog is to examine Bainbridge Island as an example of how the global credit bubble can impact a community, which believes they are immune to these forces, due to some sense of "specialness." This blog also seeks to continue a dialogue concerning macro-economic forces as they relate to people in the Westsound region.

The Joke Is On Us
The IER attended the Inslee Town Hall at NKHS on Saturday, and was amazed at the widespread economic idiocy that passes for governance.

I don't see how you can be amazed. Inslee has always been this way. I used to watch him holding court with his Bainbridge Island groupies on the ferries.
I didn't bother going to the Town Hall since I knew what he would say; and that nothing that I could say would in any way change his mind. I don't care to waste my time in shout fests, nor to be sickened by the mutual love fest between him and his groupies.
